One such worker, pictured above in 1942, shows us a glimpse into the important role of the munitions worker. Covered with belts of .303 ammunition, this worker is hard at work in a munitions plant in Quebec.<\/p>\n<p>The task of a munitions worker was both dangerous and important. They were responsible for ensuring that the soldiers had the ammunition they needed to fight on the front lines.
