Hundreds of enthusiastic canine competitors descended on the Topsfield Fair in Massachusetts for the Mutt Derby in 1953. The event was a hilarious and heartwarming spectacle as dogs from all shapes and sizes, from bulldogs and beagles to shepherds and shih tzus, gathered together to try their luck at the Mutt Derby.
